Lil Yachty Sets Sail

Teenage rap sensation Lil Yachty dropped his new album, Teenage Emotions, today and the self-proclaimed “King Of The Teens” has performances booked around the world in 2017.

The first show we have on the books for Yachty is Wireless Festival in London July 8. He has been promoting the album at events and in true youth fashion, started a food fight at a Los Angeles hotel yesterday.

Yachty’s headline tour of North America will start Aug. 11 at The Bomb Factory in Dallas. The last show currently scheduled on the continent is at Atlanta’s Fox Theatre Oct. 20. During that run he will be all around the continent for headline gigs and a festival appearance at Bumbershoot in Seattle Sept. 3.

Tickets to select dates are on sale now.

Prior to the headline trek, the recent Pollstar HotStar also has appearances planned at RBC Bluesfest in Canada, Splendour In The Grass in Australia, and Fox Theatre in Chicago.

Of the new album, Pitchfork wrote: “Though far too long and sometimes aimless, Teenage Emotions is the mind of a child star blown-up and on exhibition at the epicenter of modern rap. It’s there to be gawked at and appreciated, and then maybe enjoyed.”
