Ariana Grande Heads South, Down Under
Pop princess Ariana Grande is shipping her “Dangerous Woman” tour overseas to South America, Australia and New Zealand this year.
Xcel Energy Center – Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande makes a stop at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn., March 3.
There are three dates in South America, two and Brazil and one in Chile in late June and early July, though there is no word about when tickets go on sale.
Two months after that run she begins her antipodean journey in Auckland, New Zealand, Sept. 2, then continues into Melbourne, Pyrmont, and Boondall in Australia. Here is that plan:
Sep. 2 – Auckland, New Zealand, Spark Arena
Sep. 5 – Melbourne, Australia, Rod Laver Arena
Sep. 9 – Pyrmont, Australia, ICC Sydney Theatre
Sep. 12 – Boondall, Australia, Brisbane Entertainment Centre
Presales for those shows start on April 26 and the general onsales begin April 28. VIP tickets can cost up to $800 plus booking fees for the full meet & greet package. You can also purchase tickets to sit in out a “soundcheck dance party” hosted by her dancers and special seating.
The next date Ariana plays is May 8 in Solna, Sweden, and she stays in Europe for more than a month, wrapping up there June 17 in Torino, Italy.
Ariana Grande has been doing headline dates for her 2016 Dangerous Woman album since February.
She also appeared in a telecast of “Hairspray Live!” in December and made news later that month when she called out one of Mac Miller’s fans on social media for making objectifying comments about the songstress.
