The Alarm Sounds In North America

Mike Peters and his band, The Alarm, are set to have a banner year in 2017, as the group is ready to tour the country with headline dates and alongside young guns on the Vans Warped Tour. Peters is also the subject of a film that is screening at festivals around the world and will play at The Alarm’s “The Gathering” events.

The Alarm’s routing is broken into small runs of Warped Tour plays and headline gigs. July 7-16 and Aug. 4-6 are Warped tour dates. July 18-31 and Aug. 9-28 are solo shows, the last of which is at Chicago’s City Winery.

The film, titled “Man In The Camo Jacket,” documents Peters’ early career, his personal battles with cancer, and his continuous fight to help others beat the disease.

Peters is a cofounder of the Love Hope Strength Charity, which describes itself as the “world’s leading rock and roll cancer foundation.”
