SMG Celebrates 40 Years

SMG is celebrating its 40th year since Facility Management Group began operating the Superdome in New Orleans.

Fast forward through a merger with Spectacor Management Incorporated to form SMG, and a naming rights deal for the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, and the company is still running the venue.

Today, SMG operates more than 230 facilities in five countries.

“We’re extraordinarily proud of the company’s growth and success and look forward to an exciting future,” SMG President/CEO Wes Westley said, also promising to mark the milestone throughout the year.
