MercyMe Lights Up North America
MercyMe’s latest album just became available for streaming and purchase today, and you can catch the Christian music giants all around North America in the coming months, including as headliners on the recently announced “Summer Lights Tour” with Jeremy Camp, Natalie Grant, Meredith Andrews, and Jimi Cravity.
The next place to see MercyMe is at WGTS Fest at Hylton Memorial Chapel in Woodbridge, Va., tomorrow. After that the group embarks on the “Lifer” tour to promote its latest studio album, Lifer. The first leg of “Lifer” dates runs mostly through the Southwest in April and May, with nine shows in New Mexico, Arizona and California, followed by a pair of shows in Washington and one gig in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
The summer routing includes, festivals, a few performances at baseball games, and the “Summer Lights Tour.” That undertaking is seven plays, mostly amphitheaters, starting in Bonner Springs, Kansas, July 7. The “Lights” gigs feature MercyMe on all dates. Camp, Grant, Andrews and Cravity are each playing most nights, but some artists are missing shows here and there, so check with the ticket vendor to make sure your faves are on the bill.
The last performance we currently have on the books for the former Pollstar HotStar is Busch Gardens in Williamsburg, Va., on July 29.
