Don Henley Sets June Dates & Bday Celebration

We’re still waiting on official word about the Classic East and Classic West festivals, but in the meantime Don Henley has extended his solo tour with a run of June dates, along with announcing a special birthday celebration.

The Eagles drummer/co-lead singer is throwing himself a party for his 70th birthday at the American Airlines Center in Dallas on July 22. He will be joined by several “very special guests,” who are yet to be announced. 

Travel packages are available including a ticket to the show, an additional evening of storytelling, Q&A and a photo with Henley.

Henley is currently in the middle of a tour Down Under. After playing a number of nights in Australia he takes the stage in Christchurch, New Zealand, March 21. Later this week he’ll be in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand.

An American Express card member presale is going on now through March 23. Tickets go on sale to the general public March 24 at 10 a.m.

The rumored Classic East and Classic West festivals will reportedly feature performances from Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Steely Dan, Doobie Brothers, Journey, and Earth, Wind & Fire.
