Hanson Books 25th Anniversary Tour

Believe it or not, this year marks Hanson’s 25th anniversary as a band. To celebrate the big milestone, the brothers are headed out on the “Middle Of Everywhere 25th Anniversary World Tour.”

The tour’s name is a nod to Hanson’s debut studio album, Middle of Nowhere, which was released 20 years ago this May.

During the past 25 years, Isaac, Taylor and Zac Hanson have released six studio albums and sold more than 16 million copies. Look out for the release of Middle Of Everywhere – The Greatest Hits later this year. The compilation album will include the songs “Mmmbop,” “Where’s The Love,” “Weird,” “This Time Around,” “If Only,” “Penny And Me,” “Get The Girl Back,” “Thinking ‘Bout Somethin’”  and the band’s new single, “I Was Born.”

So far, the “Middle Of Everywhere” trek has dates in Europe and North America. Additional legs in Australia and South America will be added.

The setlist for the tour will include hits and fan favorites from throughout the pop-rock band’s catalog.

“Making music together for 25 years is a milestone that we had to acknowledge, and what better way to do it than with an anniversary tour,” keyboardist Taylor Hanson said.

“This year is not only about the two decades of music, it’s about celebrating the incredible community of fans who have been with us, singing along year after year,” guitarist Isaac Hanson added.

The tour kicks off May 21 at the band’s very own Hop Jam Beer and Music Festival in the brothers’ hometown of Tulsa, Okla.
