Bearcats To Play At BB&T

The University of Cincinnati’s Bearcats will play the 2017-18 season in BB&T Arena with Northern Kentucky University in Highland Heights, Ky.

The 9,400-capacity BB&T will only host the two Division I teams for one season, as the $87 million renovations to Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati should be done in October 2018.

BB&T was built in 2008 and UC Director of Athletics Mike Bohn said, “The modern amenities of BB&T Arena will mimic some of the improvements UC fans will experience when we return to Fifth Arena in 2018 more closely than other facilities in the area, which was important to us.”

Season ticket holders and students will get complementary parking for games at the temporary venue.
