Lake Street Dive’s Bridget Kearney Goes Solo

Following a February-March tour with Lake Street Dive, bassist Bridget Kearney is headed to stages throughout the U.S. on her own solo outing.

As part of Lake Street Dive Kearney contributes on piano and vocals, as well as songwriting. She’ll be showing off her musical skills on her solo album, Won’t Let You Down, which is due out March 24 on Signature Sounds.

The solo tour begins April 3 in Evanston, Ill. Dates are booked though April 22 in Hudson, N.Y. The band backing her will feature Benjamin Lazar Davis (Cuddle Magic, BAWash.), Sarah K. Pedonotti (Lip Talk, Okkervil River), and Alwyn Robinson (Sugar Sugar, Leftover Salmon). Margaret Glaspy will also play guitar on select dates.
