Opeth is still kicking tunes from its 2016 release, Sorceress. The band recently unveiled a music video for the song “Era” off that album.

Opeth is a progressive metal mainstay with over 25 years logged since its formation in Sweden, incorporating many influences into its music. The band is still led by guitarist/songwriter Mikael Åkerfeldt, though many of the members have changed over the years.
The U.S. run opens in Nashville at War Memorial Auditorium on May 4. The routing also includes a special show with Mastodon, Eagles of Death Metal, and Russian Circles May 6 at Philadelphia’s Electric Factory. The last scheduled headline show is in Indianapolis May 13. After that there is still an appearance scheduled at Northern Invasion in Somerset, Wis.
The band is currently finishing a run Down Under, playing in Adelaide, Australia, tonight and Northbridge tomorrow. After that, the metalheads run through Mexico, Costa Rica, Chile, Argentina and Brazil.
Once the group is finished in the U.S. it heads over to Europe for festivals like Download in the U.K. and Spain, Hellfest in France and Metaldays in Slovenia.
Gojira will be supporting all of the headline dates and Devin Townshend Project plays all the same shows except Nashville.
