The gigs are booked May 23 at KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, Ky.; May 24 at KeyBank Pavilion in Burgettstown, Pa.; and May 25 at BB&T Pavilion in Camden, N.J. Tickets to those performances go on sale Jan. 27.
These new stops are scheduled between festival appearances at Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores, Ala., May 19-21 and Boston Calling May 26-28. Those events haven’t shared daily lineups yet, so the dates are still listed as ranges.
Mumford & Sons opens for U2 during three nights in May on the “Joshua Tree Tour,” which celebrates 30 years of the Irish band’s standout album. Other world-class openers on that tour include OneRepublic, The Lumineers and Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds.
A new DVD about Mumford & Sons’ trip to South Africa last year will hit shelves Feb. 3. “Live From South Africa: Dust And Thunder” will also coincide with the release of a live CD.
