“1 Night. 1 Place. 1 Time.: A Heroes & Friends Tribute To Randy Travis” will take place on Feb. 8 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville. Previously announced performers include Alabama, Kenny Rogers, Rodney Atkins, The Randy Travis Band and Tanya Tucker.
The country music icon has been in recovery since his 2013 stroke, and recently heartened fans by singing “Amazing Grace” at his induction into the Country Music Hall of Fame in October. Below is a clip of that performance.
A portion of proceeds raised from the show will go to the Randy Travis Foundation, which raises money for stroke research.
“Nashville is coming together on Feb. 8 for one night in one place and at one time to give back to their friend and musical hero, Randy Travis,” the artist’s manager and show’s producer, Tony Conway said. “It’s amazing to see the support that Randy has received from the music industry since his stroke.”
Tickets to the event are on sale now. More information about Travis and the concert is available through his Facebook Page.
