Barry Gibb has canceled his dates in Australia and New Zealand and hasn’t announced any plans to return.
“Due to a change in international commitments, Barry Gibb’s “In the Now World Tour” Australian and New Zealand show dates, scheduled for April 2017, regrettably will not go ahead,” a statement issued by his representatives said.
The singer was supposed to play seven shows down under, including an appearance at Bluesfest in Byron Bay on April 17. He also had one gig in Auckland, New Zealand,
planned.
Reps said since it wasn’t possible to reschedule the tour, all ticketholders can get refunds at their original point of purchase.
Gibb, the only living member of the three original founding Bee Gees brothers, has not played New Zealand since 1999.

“It has been a terrible week for all of us and your warm words have given his wife, who is also a member of my orchestra, my colleagues and me so much strength,” Slippedisc reported Rieu saying.
Rieu made the announcement Dec. 19 that he was cancelling his Christmas-week tour dates, as a member of his Johan Strauss Orchestra had suffered a severe heart attack Dec. 17. The member is reportedly still in a coma.
Most of the famed conductor and violinist’s current plans for 2017 are in Europe and Latin America.
