Live Nation Posts A Record Q3
Live Nation Entertainment reported Nov. 7 third-quarter earnings of $111.1 million.
On a per-share basis, the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based company said it had net income of 49 cents per share.
The results exceeded Wall Street expectations. The average estimate of eight analysts surveyed by Zacks Investment Research was for earnings of 48 cents per share.
The company posted revenue of $3.17 billion in the period, which also beat Street forecasts. Seven analysts surveyed by Zacks expected $2.81 billion.
Live Nation shares have risen 13 percent since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Monday, shares hit $27.69, an increase of roughly 6 percent in the last 12 months.
