Garth Brooks, Ricky Skaggs Join Musicians Hall Of Fame
Garth Brooks and his longtime studio band, “The G Men,” bluegrass artist Ricky Skaggs, former Eagles guitarist Don Felder, country artist Jerry Reed and the soul players Sigma Sound Studio Rhythm Section have been inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony on Wednesday in Nashville, Tennessee, honored the musicians behind such classic recordings as “Hotel California” and “Friends in Low Places,” The Tennessean reported.
Both Brooks and his band performed some of their hits and Skaggs performed with his band Kentucky Thunder and collaborator Bruce Hornsby. Special guests included Peter Frampton, Steve Wariner, Melinda Doolittle and saxophonist Kenny G.
