Tegan And Sara Love Europe To Death
The new dates start Jan. 29 in Oslo, Norway, and continue for a few weeks until Feb. 19 in Dublin, Ireland. Prior to closing night, the ladies play a five-show run in the United Kingdom, the longest they spend in any country on the continent. The sisters, Tegan Rain Quin and Sara Keirsten Quin, are identical twins from Calgary, Alberta, who have been a force in the international Indie Pop scene for nearly two decades. A large part of their artistic and public identity is rooted in their advocacy for the LGBT community.
The latest album is titled Love You To Death and officially came out in June. Along with some of the new tunes Tegan and Sara have promised re-works of old fan favorites and dance choreography for a new kind of live show.
