Come Hear The Sounds’ ‘Dying’

The album the band is celebrating, Dying To Say This To You sent the band on a two-year global trek of headline dates and gigs opening for the likes of Panic! At the Disco.

“This was a magical time in our lives and we shared it with so many of you,” the band said in a statement. “After the response we have gotten from all of you over this year on how much this album meant to you, we knew it was time.”

The band will be playing the 2006 release in its entirety, playing hits like “Song with a Mission,” “Tony the Beat” and “Painted by Numbers, along with some new stuff.

One thing that the group has always prided itself on is its ability to incorporate many diverse influences. In a 2006 interview with After Ellen, when the group was promoting Dying, frontwoman Marja Ivarrson said: “I don’t think you should be narrow-minded about music or anything in life. I could be listening to Slipknot and the next song might be Britney Spears and then Depeche Mode after that…. You just pick up stuff from everywhere.”

The band’s current touring schedule lasts for about one month, from Nov. 15 in Salt Lake City to Dec. 20 in Seattle. There are  three House of Blues venues on the routing, in New Orleans Dec. 3, San Diego Dec. 11 and Las Vegas on Dec. 16. The routing also features a two-night stand at The Belasco Theatre in Los Angeles Dec. 13-14.
