The original routing for the tour starring Jon Anderson, Trevor Rabin & Rick Wakeman had the Yes vets playing the Seminole Casino Hollywood Oct. 6. But that was before Hurricane Matthew reared his ugly head.
Of course, the Anderson, Rabin & Wakeman (ARW) tour wasn’t planning on having to deal with Mother Nature in a big way. As the East Coast readies for the storm’s arrival, airlines are preparing to cancel or postpone flights from Florida to Georgia, resulting in more than a few travel problems.
The date originally booked for Oct. 6 at the Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Fla., has been moved to Oct. 12.

“But wait,” you’re asking. “Wasn’t Anderson, Rabin & Wakeman originally scheduled to play Pittsburgh’s Heinz Hall For The Performing Arts Oct. 12?” Yes, that was the plan. Word from the tour is that the Pittsburgh date is also being rescheduled.
“ARW is very disappointed that we have to postpone the show, but look forward to seeing everyone on Oct. 12 at Hard Rock Live, where we expect to create our own musical hurricane!” Wakeman said.

Hurricane Matthew is also receiving the blame for Miami’s House Of Horror moving Oct. 6 performances by The Chainsmokers, Daya, and Zara Larsson to Nov. 4. All tickets purchased for Thursday night’s show will be honored on the new date.

Garth Brooks also postponed his Oct. 6 gig in Orlando to Oct. 9 due to Hurricane Matthew.

Brooks is now scheduled to play a full three-night stand at the Amway Center Oct. 7-9 with Trisha Yearwood. Tickets to the original date will be valid for the new show.

Luke Bryan announced on his website that he won’t play Culler Farms in Gaston, S.C., tonight because of hurricane “evacuation orders in the coastal areas of South Carolina that will impact the traffic routes to the farm.”

The show was supposed to be the kickoff for his 2016 Farm Tour. The excursion will now begin Thursday in Greenback, Tenn.
Refunds for the Culler Farms show will be issued within 48 hours.

The songwriting legend moved his performance at UCLA’s Royce Hall in Los Angeles from Oct. 1 to Jan. 13. His Oct. 20-23 run at Seattle’s Jazz Alley now scheduled for March 9-12.
