Bruno Mars Concert Lawsuit

Thomas A. Miller filed a lawsuit in U.S. Middle District Court earlier this month against Hershey Entertainment and Resorts Co., Live Nation Worldwide Inc., and security firm NPB Companies Inc., for an alleged beating he endured by security during the show, according to PennLive.com.

Hershey Entertainment officials agreed that Miller had a valid ticket to the gig, however, a seating dispute arose after two women claimed that Miller and his fiancée were in their seats.

The head of security allowed Miller and his fiancée to remain in the seats because they were there first and an usher took their tickets. The couple then decided to move and after the concert started they were told by an usher to move again, the suit states. When they refused, Miller claims security personnel “yanked (him) up, pulled him over a four-foot gate and … pulled and dragged (him) out of the stadium.”

Miller also claims that security then kicked and punched him and shoved him to the ground resulting in lacerations, scrapes, knee and eye wounds and “severe psychological injuries, including post-traumatic stress disorder.”

Hershey states that Miller and his fiancée bought the tickets from StubHub and were assigned the same seats as the two women.

But when the couple moved to a guest area close to the stage, Miller “repeatedly ignored verbal attempts by (Hershey) personnel to resolve the ticketing conflict,” and it’s agreed that security removed him after that. Hershey denies that any of its employees harmed Miller and denies any legal responsibility filing a cross-claim saying if any liability is determined, it’s with NPB and LN.
