Verizon Wireless Arena Renamed
Southern New Hampshire University has purchased the naming rights to Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H., which is now SNHU Arena.

The specific amount paid for the naming rights was not available at press time, but the Union Leader reported that an independent source evaluated the Verizon deal as worth $11.4 million.
The 11,000-capacity arena will be rebranded with the school’s blue and gold colors and the first concert with the new name will be Carrie Underwood Sept. 29.
The venue also will host Eric Church, Sesame Street Live,
