Dillinger Escape Plan Unveils ‘Dissociation’ Dates
Dissociation drops Oct. 14 via the band’s Party Smasher Inc. imprint and will be distributed via Cooking Vinyl America. First single from the LP is “Limerent Death.”
The Dillinger Escape Plan is expected to take a break following touring for Dissociation. On Aug. 5 guitarist Ben Weinman tweeted the news and talked with Noisey’s Jonah Bayer about the band’s plans.

“Well, I think in some ways we wanted to pull a ‘Seinfeld’ and go out while we’re still on top, you know what I mean,” Weinman said. “The band has actually never been more prolific and we’re as credible and popular as ever. I think whenever we’re on stage, there’s not another band in the world playing at that time that even comes close to us, and that’s our goal.”
Expect the band to play a few festivals before embarking on the road trip, including England’s Reading and Leeds fests as well as Chicago’s Riot Fest. Here’s the fall tour:
