Two Tongues Proclaims Return, Tour
There was substantial interest among genre fans when news broke about the collaboration eight years ago and many evaluated Two Tongues’ self-titled debut LP, released in 2009, as decent to excellent. Fans got to see the group assemble onstage during a Saves The Day and Say Anything tour in 2010.
Now Two Tongues will be moving from side-project status to main attraction, with November solidly booked with headline shows. The band’s run starts Nov. 1 in Houston and ends Dec. 3 in Austin. Don’t worry, the band does leave Texas though, as the tour actually touches both coasts and moves through each major region of the U.S.
A unique element of the show will be a back-and-forth set between Say Anything and Saves The Day, where the groups alternate songs, and even throw in a few duets. Support will be provided by Backwards Dancer, which just issued its first EP New Life In Old Shoes.
