Avenged Sevenfold Announces September Excursion

Avenged Sevenfold plans on packing a lot of metal into a short run of dates this September. This week the band unveiled a brief headline excursion that’s booked along with previously announced festival appearances.

The Southern California-based act’s next stop is an Aug. 20 gig with Metallica at Minneapolis’ U.S. Bank Stadium.

Festivalgoers will be able to catch Avenged Sevenfold at events such as High Elevation in Englewood, Colo.; Rock Allegiance in Chester, Pa.; and Louder Than Life in Louisville, Ky.

The new headline dates begin Sept. 12 in Bonner Springs, Kan. Avenged Sevenfold is bringing along Avatar, as well as Killswitch Engage on select shows.
