Clutch Unveils Fall Tour With Zakk Sabbath & Kyng

Released in October via the group’s own Weathermaker Music label, Psychic Warfare marks Clutch’s 11th studio album. The LP debuted at No. 11 on the Nielsen SoundScan albums chart and topped the hard rock and rock charts. Longtime producer Machine, who has worked with Lamb of God and Every Time I Die, put his special touch on the album.

Clutch celebrated Record Store Day in April by putting out a limited edition numbered etched vinyl version of Psychic Warfare, which included two previously unreleased tracks: “Mad Sidewinder” and “Outland Special Clearance.”

The world tour continues this summer with a run of European headline dates and festival appearances. The first step of the U.S. excursion is Sept. 28 in Buffalo, N.Y.

“We are pleased to announce that this fall Clutch will be hitting the road again in the U.S. This time with Zakk Sabbath and Kyng,” frontman Neil Fallon said in a statement. “Clutch toured with Black Label Society a few years back and it was a blast – and no doubt, this one will be a blast as well. We hope to see you all there!”

Zakk Sabbath will be showcasing its take on Black Sabbath songs. Along with guitarist/vocalist Zakk Wylde (Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), the lineup features bassist Rob “Blasko” Nicholson (Ozzy Osbourne, Rob Zombie) and drummer Joey Castillo (Danzig, Queens Of The Stone Age).

Kyng is supporting its upcoming third LP.
