Early Citations At Bonnaroo
Last year, the Manchester, Tenn., event had 76 arrests by all law enforcement agencies, up from 60 in 2014, according to the Tennessean. This year, from Wednesday to the early hours of Thursday, nearly a dozen people were arrested and more than 100 cited, the paper reported.
Many of the arrests were made overnight, according to a Coffee County Sheriffs’ Office spokesman, including for disorderly conduct and illegal possession of controlled substances.
The good news is there have not been any medical emergencies reported.
“We’ve been lucky we haven’t had any so far, but we are on guard because of the expected high temps and heat expected Saturday and Sunday,” the representative told the Tennessean. “If you’re out here, please, please, please stock up on fluids and stay hydrated, folks.”
