Selena Gomez Heads Down Under, Coldplay Tix Snapped Up

Live Nation announced Selena Gomez’s Revival World Tour would hit Australia with three dates and one in New Zealand.

It lands at Melbourne’s Margaret Court Arena Aug. 6, Sydney’s Hordern Pavilion Aug. 9 and Brisbane Entertainment Centre Aug. 11. Her Auckland date is at Vector Arena Aug. 13. At the first two shows, she will be joined by the Joe Jonas-lead outfit DNCE.

Live Nation also announced a strong response for the Australian three-date run of Coldplay’s A Head Full Of Dreams Tour. Tickets went on sale May 30, with two shows sold out immediately. Extra dates were added for Melbourne’s Etihad Stadium (Dec. 10) and Sydney’s Allianz Stadium (Dec. 14).

In other news, ‘80s British popsters Kim Wilde and Howard Jones return for nine theatre dates Nov. 2-13 through Metropolis Touring and David Roy Williams.

After selling out shows last year, Metropolis Touring, Select Touring and Slingshot Touring are bringing Tech N9ne back, with longtime collaborator Krizz Kaliko and Stevie Stone, for a seven-club date run Nov. 5-13.
