Disney Star Olivia Holt Rises With ‘Phoenix’

Holt, whose “Rise Of A Phoenix Tour” will run across the U.S. from July 15 to Aug. 28, also has two movies coming out this summer.

Her new single “Phoenix” is available now through JustJared, and the Katy Perry and Selena Gomez influences in the song will give genre fans what they’ve come to expect from such high-production, big budget studio projects. Prior to this she had written a number of other independent singles, such as “Carry On” used for Disney’s film Bears.

The 18-year-old signed her deal with Hollywood Records in 2014. Her work with Disney includes starring in the series Kickin’ It and I Didn’t Do It. She also provided the voice for Spider-Girl in Ultimate Spider-Man.

Holt was also recently announced as Neutrogena’s new brand ambassador and the skincare company is sponsoring her tour.
