Rock Carnival To Feature Twisted Sister’s NE Farewell

Billed as hosting the “final Tri-State performance” of Twisted Sister, New Jersey’s second annual Rock Carnival will also feature performances by Overkill, Ace Frehley, Monster Magnet, Fuel, Cinderella’s Tom Keifer, Dokken, Texas Hippie Coalition and others.

The celebration of riffs, decibels and power chords takes place at First Energy Park in Lakewood Sept. 30-Oct. 2. Along with all the hard rock you can sink your teeth into, the fest will also feature carnival rides, food truck munchies, GCW Professional Wrestling, and high stakes pig racing.

One new feature is Rock Carnival’s “Classic Rewind” Friday night concert bringing back some of the performers from 2015.

Plus, there’s Twisted Sister winding up a decades-long career that hit maximum overdrive with the 1984 party anthem “We’re Not Gonna Take It.”
