O.A.R. Plots ‘Revolution’
O.A.R., which stands for “Of A Revolution,” was founded in 1996 by Rockville, Md., high school classmates Marc Roberge (vocalist), Chris Culos (drums), Benj Gershman (bass) and Richard On (guitar). The group attended Ohio State University where they met Jerry DePizzo (saxophone).
The band has a new album, XX, landing Aug. 5. The release is a compilation of live and studio recorded tracks that span from O.A.R.’s beginning until now. “Every presale and VIP order will automatically be entered in a drawing to win a stage-played Fender guitar.” Plus every ticket for select shows will include a digital copy of XX available to download on the release date.
