Organized by PrimaveraPro, ASACC (Association of Concert Venues of Catalonia), ACCES (Spanish association of live music venues) and Live DMA (European network for music venues and festivals), the congress aims to bring together the main associations, collectives and live music venues of Europe at Barcelona’s museum for contemporary art June 1-3.

Debates will touch on the role of live music in the cultural and social development of cities and the recognition of the value of the music venues in public policies. Also to be addressed are the commitment of venues to sustainability and other policies and the generational change of audiences attending concerts. Also at PrimaveraPro, iconic Danish nonprofit festival Roskilde will be presented with the Primavera Award 2016 “for their social commitment whilst having established themselves as one of the most important festivals in the world.”
