Word from the Black Rebel Motorcycle Club universe is that BRMC is working on a new album. The band’s last studio LP was 2013’s Specter At The Feast.

Death From Above 1979 is touring in support of 2014’s The Physical World.  The duo made up of Jesse Keeler and Sebastien Grainger is working on a follow-up.   The group released Death From Above 1979 Live From Third Man Records in September. DFA will be on the road with Awolnation June through July.

Both bands are revved up about the autumn run that includes Deap Vally supporting.  BRMC’s Robert Levon Been described the outing as a “full-tilt rock ’n’ roll circus” while Death From Above 1979 declared the adventure as “100 percent certified organic rock ’n’ roll.”
