Twenty One Pilots Extend Global Tour To April

Ohio-native Twenty One Pilots has blended synths and electronic drums with excellent songwriting to create a signature sound which is taking off around the world.

The band’s now extensive itinerary will bring the boys across the U.S. over the summer, then into Europe for the Reading/Leeds festival in England. After that, it’s a show at Mexico City’s Palacio De Los Deportes, and an extended run of European dates into November. 2017 is mostly U.S. and Australian performances into April so far.

Blurryface, the band’s most recent album, features a number of full-fledged radio hits like “Stressed Out”, “Ride” and “Tear in My Heart.” Now the Emøtiønal Røadshøw tour, kicking off May 31 in Cincinnati, Ohio’s U.S. Bank Arena, is set to propel the band to new heights and bring the Pilots to 17 countries.

The band’s live performances feature Dun banging away furiously on the drums while Joseph flits around the stage functioning as frontman, keyboardist, ukulele-player and bassist. A good way to describe Joseph’s dramatic fits of energy as the drums go into overdrive is “spastic”.
