Parquet Courts Expands Tour Schedule

Parquet Courts – which Rolling Stone calls “the most exciting young rock band in America” – has added summer shows in North America, along with a run of October gigs in Europe.

The indie rock act will be showing off new tunes from its latest album, Human Performance, which was released in April.

Rolling Stone declares, “Even in an absurdly abundant time for brilliant young indie bands, Parquet Courts approach their jittery art-punk guitar buzz with a playful sense of adventure that sets them way ahead of the pack.”

RS wasn’t the only publication to take a shine to the new release. Stereogum named Human Performance an “Album of the Week” while Spin stamped the LP with its “Essential Album” label and Pitchfork rated it among the site’s “Best New Music.”
