Garbage Trucks Across U.S. For Summer
Garbage has announced a run of summer shows in the U.S., and will be playing tunes from the upcoming album “Strange Little Birds.”

Most of the stateside gigs are in the continental Midwest and South before a few East Coast sets close the tour out. The dates will mostly be in July, with previously announced performances in Europe both before and after the North American shows.
The first single from Strange Little Birds, titled “Empty” was released recently, and the entire album will drop June 10 via the band’s own independent label, STUNEVOLUME.
Garbage’s brand of often upbeat yet dissonant rock was big in the ’90s, but the group went on hiatus after its fourth album Bleed Like Me released in 2005. With its members still on good terms, the group released a greatest hits album in 2007 and created its first album of new material in seven years with 2012’s Not Your Kind Of People.
