SMG Vet Named Cobb Center Director
Sandie Aaron has been named managing director at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, Ga. She begins her new position May 2.
Previously, Aaron worked in SMG’s Midwest and Southeast as a regional booking director, regional general manager and regional vice president.
“[Aaron’s] programming, financial, strategic and leadership experience will bring enormous value to Cobb Energy Center and to the other organizations with whom we partner,” said Michele Swann, Cobb-Marietta Coliseum & Exhibit Hall Authority General Manager/CEO.
The selection for the new boss at the 2,750-capacity venue was announced April 4.
The previous director was Michael Taormina, who announced his retirement in 2015.
