The Last Waltz Relived In NOLA

Led by musical director Warren Haynes (Gov’t MuleThe Allman Brothers Band) and Grammy award-winning producer Don Was, the event celebrates the 40th anniversary of “The Last Waltz,” paying tribute to The Band’s historic farewell concert.

New Orleans’ Saenger Theatre hosts the superband show April 30 featuring John Medeski, Jamey Johnson, George Porter, Jr., Dave Malone, Terence Higgins, Mark Mullins and surprise special guests. The night also serves as a memorial to the late New Orleans musician Allen Toussaint, who composed the powerful horn charts for the original concert.
