Metalcore Bands to Mosh, Munch
Other groups on the ticket are genre mainstays Miss May I and For Today.
Prior to the tour, We Came As Romans will be touring with Miss May I, Wilson and Sworn In for a mini tour titled “The Road to Bands vs. Food”. Afterwards, WCAR will continue touring with Miss May I in Europe.
Special VIP tickets will include a catered meal from a local restaurant of the bands’ choice and exclusive merchandise. Fans are invited to suggest eateries located near the venues by tagging the bands through social media.
Interestingly, the groups booked on the “Bands vs. Food” tour all acknowledge a Christian influence to their scream-laden music. Some bands such as Memphis May Fire and For Today embrace Christian themes, while WCAR and Miss May I include some band members who are religious and affect the creative process, but do not identify as Christian.
“There might be a song that I take very spiritually about my relationship with God (that) to someone else might have nothing to do with that,” We Came As Romans Guitarist Joshua Moore said in an interview with Enoch magazine. “We’re just out to relate, we’re trying to build relationships with people.”
