Country music shines in the latest slate of artists ranked on LIVE75 as Blake Shelton, Little Big Town and Aaron Watson all earn special status based on box office performance during the past month. Shelton has this week’s HOT SHOT debut, while the quartet scores BREAKTHROUGH status with the highest sellout average among the lower 50 acts in the tally. Watson’s turn as NOISE MAKER follows a 12-position leap from his ranking one week ago.

Shelton arrives as the highest debut of the week with ticket sales from five arenas on his “Friends and Heroes Tour” that returned this year after a sold-out run in February and March of 2019. On the current trek, his sellouts in Portland, Ore.; Salt Lake City; and three California cities – Bakersfield, Fresno and Sacramento – produced a sold ticket count of 55,730, an average of 11,146 per night. That figure places him at No. 7 on the chart topped by Post Malone, the Eagles and Aventura, ranked for the second consecutive week at Nos. 1, 2 and 3, respectively.

At No. 30, Little Big Town’s 2,850-ticket average at seven sold-out concerts came from four venues on the vocal group’s 2020 schedule. Boston’s Wang Theatre, Murat Theatre in Indianapolis and Ruth Eckerd Hall in Clearwater, Fla., each hosted the quartet for two nights, and The Fabulous Fox Theatre in St. Louis booked them for one. With packed houses for all shows, a total of 19,955 tickets were purchased for a $1.5 million take.

Finally, Watson’s jump in the ranking to No. 55 after landing at No. 67 last week is based on four dates during February – two in his home state of Texas and two in Kansas, with an average of 1,059 tickets sold.
