Ozzy Osbourne Cancels 2020 North American ‘No More Tours 2’ Dates

Ozzy Osbourne’s 2020 North American run of “No More Tours 2” has been cancelled, as the artist continues to recover from various health issues he has faced over the past year. 
Osbourne has been hit with a couple of setbacks to his health over the past couple of years. The former Black Sabbath frontman had undergone surgery in March 2019 after falling in his Los Angeles home and aggravating injuries from a 2003 ATV accident. 
That incident caused him to postpone all of his 2019 tour dates to 2020, just months after pushing back U.K. and European dates because of a severe upper-respiratory infection that turned into pneumonia. 
At the beginning of this year, the 71-year-old four-time Grammy winner announced that he was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease.
The rescheduled U.S. leg of “No More Tours 2” was scheduled to commence May 27 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, GA, and close at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA, in July.
The rescheduled European leg is still set to begin Oct. 23 at Utilita Arena, and run through Dec. 7, where the tour closes at Hartwall Arena in Helsinki, Finland.
The rescheduled European dates are still listed on Ozzy Osbourne’s website, Pollstar has reached out to his publicist to find out if “No More Tours 2” would still come to Europe as planned.
The operators of some of the venues on the European leg meanwhile confirmed that they haven’t been told otherwise as of yet.
“I’m so thankful that everyone has been patient because I’ve had a shit year,” Osbourne said in a statement. “Unfortunately, I won’t be able to get to Switzerland for treatment until April and the treatment takes six-eight weeks.
“I don’t want to start a tour and then cancel shows at the last minute, as it’s just not fair to the fans. I’d rather they get a refund now and when I do the North American tour down the road, everyone who bought a ticket for these shows will be the first ones in line to purchase tickets at that time.”
Refunds are available at the original point of purchase. All refunds, including fees, will be returned directly to the credit card used. 
Additionally, ticketholders who purchased “No More Tours 2” tickets will have first access to tickets when the next tour is announced.
