Jonas Brothers Reclaim No. 1 On LIVE75

It’s a chart-topping week for the Jonas Brothers on LIVE75, marking the pop group’s second appearance at No. 1 since the “Happiness Begins” tour began in August. The siblings first grabbed the top position last November based on October sellouts, but this week’s score was determined by sales from December concerts, the final dates on their tour’s opening North American leg.

Sellout crowds in the Omaha, Dallas, Austin, Phoenix, Oakland and Los Angeles markets added 98,096 sold tickets to the tour’s overall attendance count that topped 1 million at the end of 2019. From seven concerts (two in L.A.), the band has a 14,013-sold ticket average per show to earn the highest ranking.

Opera great Andrea Bocelli returns for a second week as the HEAVY HITTER with the highest gross average of $2.5 million from four performances at three American arenas, while this week sees a return to the chart by rock veteran Rod Stewart as the HOT SHOT artist. His 12,246-ticket average comes from three performances in London and two in Dublin during December. Bocelli’s repeat performance is based on sales from the same venues that earned him the same status last week – Madison Square Garden in New York, San Diego’s Pechanga Arena and MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

The Marcus King Band (No. 38) earns BREAKTHROUGH status on the strength of a 98% sellout average at 10 shows during the final month of 2019 – all at clubs or theaters in U.S. cities. Included was a two-show stand at Chicago’s Thalia Hall and a sellout at New York’s Beacon Theatre with 2,773 sold seats, the most of any of the venues.
