Grupo Firme Named Hot Shot On LIVE75 With 11,446-Ticket Average

Morgan Wallen kicks off the year with the highest ranking on this week’s LIVE75 chart and retains his No. 1 spot, bringing his total number of chart appearances to five with three turns at the top. His sold-out headlining dates in November at Greater Gulf State Fairgrounds in Mobile, Ala., and Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock, Ark., earned him the top averages in both ticket sales and gross. He scores the HEAVY HITTER tag for the first time with a $1.7 million gross average and is one of only three headliners to surpass the million-dollar mark on the chart. 

Regional Mexican band Grupo Firme has the highest ticket average among newly-charting acts this week, taking HOT SHOT honors with an 11,446-ticket average from eight performances. Seven of the shows occurred in November while one is the group’s first 2022 date reported: an event at Monterrey, Mexico’s Domo Care with a crowd of 5,501 on Jan. 2. Promoted by Zignia Live, the concert grossed over 3.6 million pesos or $179,651.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra also debuts on the chart, ranked fourth based on ticket averages from two venues, both offering matinee shows along with an evening performance. Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Conn., welcomed 13,551 fans on Nov. 28 and Footprint Center in Phoenix sold 19,842 tickets for shows on Dec. 5, both during the ensemble’s annual holiday trek. French music producer CloZee is the BREAKTHROUGH artist of the week with two sellouts reported and NOISE MAKER DJ Lodato jumps 16 positions to land at No. 56.

Pollstar’s LIVE75 ranks worldwide active tours by average tickets sold for reported shows played over the last 30 days. Active Tours with at least three reported shows are eligible to chart. An Active Tour is one where there are upcoming shows in the next 30 days in Pollstar’s Route Book database, or one Pollstar feels is of significance.

HOT SHOT is the highest charting new Active Tour.

NOISE MAKER is the Active Tour with biggest positive chart gain from previous week.

BREAKTHROUGH is the Active Tour showing a ticket sales breakthrough by packing the house.

HEAVY HITTER designates the artist with the highest average gross on the chart.
