Creative Artists Agency announced the promotion of veteran agents Bruno Del Granado and Jeff Krones to leadership positions Wednesday.

Del Granado, who works with artists including Maluma, Gloria Estefan, Luis Fonsi and Becky G, becomes head of the agency’s global Latin music touring group, while Krones, whose clients include Dan + Shay, Twenty One Pilots, Brett Young and Needtobreathe, is now co-head of CAA Nashville Music.

“Today’s appointments of two superbly talented new leaders attest to the tremendous momentum CAA is experiencing across our touring business,” said CAA head of music Rob Light in a statement. “Jeff and Bruno’s individual instincts, taste and experience have made them world-class agents, and we look forward to them expanding their impact for clients and CAA in their new leadership roles.”

Krones, who appeared on Pollstar‘s inaugural Impact 50 list in 2019 and in his new role joins existing Nashville music co-heads Marc Dennis, Brian Manning and Darin Murphy, shared his enthusiasm in a statement, noting, “I’m honored to join my fellow co-heads in helping to build on our success in Nashville. As a team, we’re passionate about discovering, developing, and serving a wide range of artists that touch many different genres and cultures. I’m fortunate to have spent my entire career at CAA, surrounded by the best agents, and I’m excited by the opportunity to help shape our future.”

CAA’s Nashville team comprises 38 agents who represent talent from the country realm – Alabama, Lady A, Zac Brown Band, Sam Hunt, Tim McGraw, Maren Morris, Willie Nelson, Dan + Shay, Shania Twain, Carrie Underwood, and Keith Urban – as well as artists from outside of it such as Harry Styles, Mumford & Sons and Vampire Weekend.

Meanwhile, as leader of CAA’s Latin music division, Del Granado will steer a group that recently secured major partnership deals for clients Estefan, Becky G and Ricky Martin.

“As the reach and influence of Latin music continues to grow across the globe, I’m thrilled to work alongside the incredible artists driving the success and cultural impact of the music,” Del Granado said in a statement. “With the continued support of the broader CAA team, our Latin music group will create even more opportunities ahead.”

In October, CAA acquired ICM Partners. In November, the company promoted Zack Borson, Kaitlyn Bruce, Alex Douma, Kara Enos, Omar Garcia, Brian Greenwood, Ariel Happe, Brad Pophal and Jamie Shaughnessy, capping a massive year that saw the agency sign Zac Brown Band, The Weeknd, JoJo Siwa, Arcade Fire, Miguel, Red Hot Chili Peppers, CHVRCHES, Charli XCX, Stormzy and Playboi Carti, among others.

Several CAA-affiliated artists have recently appeared on Pollstar‘s cover, including Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Enrique Iglesias, Maluma, Evanescence, The Black Crowes, Girl in Red and Krones’ own client Twenty One Pilots.

The agency’s Emma Banks appeared on the cover of Pollstar‘s Impact International: UK/Euro issue in September.
