WME Adds Dru Bass As Music Crossover Agent

Dru Bass has joined WME as a music crossover agent in hip-hop and R&B, according to an announcement from WME music co-heads Lucy Dickins and Kirk Sommer.
Bass most recently was with UTA, where he worked with artists including Young Thug, Tierra Whack, Issa Rae’s music company RAEDIO, composer Amanda Jones, Harvey Mason Jr., Princess Nokia, Burna Boy, Lil Wayne, Michelle Williams, and Ms. Lauryn Hill, several of which he crossed into film and television.
Bass was also a part of UTA’s inclusion advisory group, UNITY, serving on the leadership committee.
Bass previously worked for three years at CAA in the music crossover department. He began his career working across the marketing, A&R and business affairs functions at Universal Motown, RCA/JIVE Records and iHeartRadio.
