Wasserman Music has announced five newly promoted agents and welcomes two new tour marketing directors, with the agency saying it is developing a new generation of artist representatives.
The new music agents include Amanda Ilgunas, Paige Maloney and Lauren Marker, along with brand partnership agents Edenized Perez and Mallory Smith. The new tour marketing directors are Stephanie Gherini and Mika Posecion.
“We take great pride in developing strong careers for our colleagues, as well as for our clients,” says Lee Anderson, Wasserman Music EVP & Managing Executive. “Amanda, Paige, Lauren, Edenized and Mallory have grown into outstanding professionals, and we’re honored to welcome them to our agent team. The addition of Stephanie and Mika to our exceptional tour marketing team represents a big step forward in Wasserman’s ability to empower and guide our clients’ touring careers.”
Ilgunas started her career as a receptionist at Paradigm Talent Agency, then served in the talent, corporate communications and human resources departments at the agency before it was acquired by Wasserman. At AM Only, which was acquired by Paradigm previously, she became assistant, and later coordinator, for agent Ben Shprits and now continues her career representing Dom Dolla, Charlotte de Witte, DJ Seinfeld, NALA and others.
Maloney began her career as an administrator at Live Nation in Philadelphia before joining Paradigm in 2015 as assistant to agent Joe Atamian. Her client roster includes Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Black Pumas, Brett Dennen, Noah Kahan, Elizabeth Cook, Katie Pruitt and more. Maloney is based in Wasserman’s Nashville office.
Marker joined WME in 2018 as agent Brent Smith’s booking assistant, and later was promoted to agent trainee before moving to Wasserman Music alongside Smith this summer. As an agent, she continues to work with the veteran agent Smith, based in Wasserman’s Los Angeles office.
Perez started as an intern for El Museo Del Barrio and Central Park Summerstage, and an arts writer for VICE Media, before joining AM Only as a receptionist. She then moved to Paradigm’s brand partnerships team as an assistant, and later coordinator under agent Anthony DiStasio.
Her experience includes working with Kaytranada with Stella Artois for a virtual DJ set as part of the brand’s Sessions at Solstice virtual concert; partnering Toro Y Moi with Cartier for a content piece published by the New York Times; and booking Killer Mike’s participation at the ComplexLand virtual pop culture festival. Perez is based in Wasserman’s New York office.
Mallory Smith joined Paradigm alongside Chief Marketing Officer Lori Feldman in 2019, facilitating holistic initiatives throughout internal marketing and services teams across the agency’s departments. She was previously Assistant of Strategic Marketing & Brand Partnerships at Warner Records, where she worked with artists including Andra Day, Bebe Rexha, Dua Lipa, IDK, JoJo, Saweetie and Drake’s OVO Sound.
Gherini joins Wasserman Music as Director, Tour Marketing, following five years in tour marketing for the touring division at Live Nation’s Los Angeles headquarters. There, she oversaw marketing on national tours for a variety of artists, including Halsey, The Lonely Island, AJR, Anderson .Paak, 21 Savage, Deftones, and Daniel Caesar. She has also worked in management, publishing, and at record labels in her 11 years in the music industry. Gherini is based in Wasserman’s Nashville office.
Posecion joins Wasserman Music as Director, Tour Marketing, following five and a half years at WME, most recently as a Global Tour Marketing Agent. She has executed marketing campaigns for artists such as AJR, Amos Lee, Claptone, Duran Duran, Emotional Oranges, Fitz and The Tantrums, Kevin Morby, Macklemore, Miguel, Mika, Steve Aoki and Wiz Khalifa.
Before her time at WME, she founded artist development and management company 91 Projects, and managed DJ and producer Mikael Wills. Posecion is based in Wasserman’s Los Angeles office.
