Kacey Musgraves will hit the road in January and February for “star-crossed: unveiled,” an arena tour that will wind its way through 15 major North American arenas.
The short trek begins at Xcel Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minn., on Jan. 19, before continuing on to stops including Chicago’s United Center (Jan. 20), Philadelphia’s Wells Fargo Center (Jan. 26), New York City’s Madison Square Garden (Feb. 5), Atlanta’s State Farm Arena (Feb. 9) and Denver’s Ball Arena (Feb. 16). Musgraves will conclude her early 2022 touring at Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center on Feb. 20.
AEG Presents is promoting the tour, which will be supported by King Princess and MUNA. Tickets go on sale to the general public on Sept. 9 at 10 a.m. local time.
Last week, Musgraves announced star-crossed, the follow-up to her 2018 album Golden Hour, which won the Grammy Award for Album of the Year in 2019.
In 2019, Musgraves ranked No. 96 on Pollstar‘s North American touring chart with $11.9 million grossed. Her fall tour concluded with her first arena play, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena; the sold-out date grossed $1.12 million and stands as the Grammy-winning artist’s highest-grossing performance to date. Musgraves’ other touring highlights from that year included sold-out, two-night runs at New York’s Radio City Music Hall and Los Angeles’ Greek Theatre, which grossed $873,314 and $803,908, respectively.
“Whether playing the comedian, the country singer-songwriter or the dance-pop diva … Musgraves had Radio City in the palm of her hand,” Pollstar wrote in a review of one of Musgraves’ fall 2019 New York shows.
