Live Nation announced the addition of Cindy Agi as Global Tour Promoter on Tuesday.
Agi hails from WME, where she was co-head of the agency’s hip-hop department and its first Black female partner. Agi, who started out in WME’s mailroom in 2009, represented Rihanna, Big Sean, Andra Day, Demi Lovato, Jazmine Sullivan, 2 Chainz and many others while at the agency.
In her new role, Agi will build relationships with global touring artists and book major international tours. She’ll report to Omar Al-joulani, leader of Live Nation Concert’s Talent & Touring Team, and Arthur Fogel, the company’s Chairman of Global Touring.
“Agi brings an incredible breadth of knowledge and years of experience in the music industry,” Al-joulani said in a statement. “The respect that she has throughout the industry and her undeniable work ethic made her a must-have promoter on our expanding global team. We are excited to have her on board and know she is going to continue to be a force in the touring industry.”
In a statement, Agi concurred, saying, “With events returning, we’re entering an exciting new chapter, and I’m looking forward to contributing to the company’s continued evolution through impactful initiatives.”
Agi was named WME partner in December 2020.
