Post Malone Manager Dre London Teases October Posty Fest

Post Malone was a dominant touring force prior to the pandemic and, as manager Dre London outlined during Wednesday’s “Golden Era 2.0: How The Concert Business Comes Back & What It Looks Like” at the annual Pollstar Live! conference in Los Angeles, the Grammy-nominated rapper will pick right up where he left off in the coming months.
Post’s charismatic manager made multiple revelations about his client’s 2021 and 2022 touring plans, including the news that the third iteration of Posty Fest, Post Malone’s festival that most recently took place at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, will return this October.
“We haven’t announced it yet,” London said with a laugh. “I guess it’s out now! Between us, yeah, we’re planning Posty Fest at the end of October.”
“We’re putting a tour together like nothing happened,” London said earlier in the panel, articulating plans to tour in 2022 with Post Malone’s rehearsals beginning in February.
Then, with a laugh, London added, “I haven’t even told Post. Post doesn’t even know his tour dates!”
London said he can hardly post to social media these days without an onslaught of fan comments wondering when Post will be on the road again, but the musician’s legions of fans shouldn’t have to wait much longer. Post is set to headline multiple festivals later this year, including Chicago’s Lollapalooza in July, England’s Reading and Leeds Festivals in August and New York’s Governors Ball in September.
In March, London told Pollstar that Post had stadium dates in the works for 2022.
Post grossed an average of $1.76 million per show across 21 arena gigs logged in early 2020, and London appeared on Pollstar‘s Impact 50 list in May.
