Corey Taylor Plots CMF Tour Starting In May

Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor is returning to the road in 2021 with a COVID-safe solo tour starting in March. The gigs will be supported by The Cherry Bombs.
The run opens May 18 at The Marquee Backyard in Tempe, Ariz., and continues for 18 more dates, moving through Texas, the regional South and into the Midwest. The full routing is available below.
A presale is ongoing now, and tickets go on sale to the general public on March 19.
COVID-safe measures to be implemented on the tour include social distancing at all locations and compliance with state recommended guidelines at each stop.

The shows will draw from Taylor’s debut solo album, CMFT, released in 2020, and songs from Slipknot and Stone Sour. He recently released a music video for the song “Samantha’s Gone.” He also fronted the supergroup called Ground Control, with Taylor Hawkins, Dave Navarro and Chris Chaney, which performed at The Bowie Celebration: Just for One Day tribute to David Bowie.
Taylor’s tour is the latest announced for early summer of 2021, indicating the industry may see a partial return to scale this year. Life Is Beautiful recently went on sale with new tickets for 2021 and sold out, the latest indication that festivals may even be back.
