Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Signs Ticketing Deal With DICE: Exclusive
Ticketing and gig discovery platform DICE is boosting its presence in the U.S. with a multi-year ticketing partnership with Elsewhere in Brooklyn.
A mobile-first ticketing app, DICE promises to bring its anti-scalping technology and music discovery algorithm and data analysis to Elsewhere to help more fans connect to Elsewhere’s in-person and livestream events.
“We’re excited to work with DICE and are impressed not only by the platform itself, but most notably by the people behind it,” Dhruv Chopra, partner and CFO at Elswhere said in a statyement. “We believe DICE’s thoughtful design as a product and as a company, that both fundamentally impact music culture, will make for a strong partnership as we reopen and as we both evolve over the years to come.
Ultimately, we believe working with DICE will improve our workflow, the experience of our audiences, and the overall discovery of fantastic events across the city in our mutual goal to get people out and enjoying live music again.”
DICE’s Chief Revenue Officer Russ Tannen added: “Elsewhere is renowned both in the Brooklyn scene and globally – for good reason. Their dedication to underground music, creative curation and tastemaker line-ups is unrivalled. Whether it’s Sheer Mag, Romare or Ross From Friends, they host some of the most unforgettable live and electronic experiences – and we can’t wait to see them on DICE.
“This partnership means that even more fans will discover Elsewhere’s diverse slate of events. We can’t go out just yet, but until then, we’re working together to re-imagine what live looks like, so that even more fans will be going out and experiencing some of the best nights in Brooklyn.”
Elsewhere opened in 2017 with an emphasis on electronic and underground music and has multiple performance spaces in the building, including a Hall, Zone One, and The Loft. Most reported shows at Elsewhere since its opening had between a 500 and 700-capacity. The highest grossing show on record is Gus Dapperton on April 20, 2019, with $22,675 grossed on 907 tickets.
DICE recently announced another partnership with London-based record store Rough Trade in December. Prior to that, it declared its partnership with Primavera Sound in 2019, as the megafestival committed to go fully mobile. The company also launched in Australia and Italy in 2019.
