DWP To Produce Dance Gavin Dance Fan-Voted PPV Livestream Concert Dec. 19

The PPV event, which will include tracks the band has never played live before, will be released as an album via Rise Records as well. Tickets and merch bundles are available now.

The event will feature a pre-show hosted by SiriusXM’s Caity Babs taking fans to the band’s favorite and most significant Sacramento spots from throughout Dance Gavin Dance history in association with Visit Sacramento.

 Tilian Pearson, singer of Dance Gavin Dance, says in a statement. “We are poised to step up to the challenge of playing a fully fan-voted set, and it is an honor to be able to shut down traffic in the middle of the city to do it.” For the show, the bridge was transformed into an in-the-round concert stage with arena-level light production. 

“Sacramento has a deep history of prominent bands that call our city home and we’re excited to add Dance Gavin Dance to that list,” comments Mike Testa, President & CEO of Visit Sacramento. “You can tell by their heartfelt words, and their energetic performance, that they love their hometown as much as we do and we’re proud to showcase them on the region’s most notable landmark, the Tower Bridge.”

The Tree City Sessions Volume 2 PPV stream event is produced by Danny Wimmer Presents who recently entered the digital content curation space, promoting pay-per-view concert streams such as “Forum And Against ‘Em” with Slipknot frontman Corey Tayor (with management company 5B Artists + Media) as well as creating the digital series Offstage with DWP.  The promoter has also got into the multi-city drive-in tour space, with a co-billed Aaron Lewis and Sully Erna trek recently adding dates. 

The band, which drew 7,500 fans to its own inaugural Swan Fest at City National Grove of Anaheim in 2019, is represented by 33 & West agent Matt Pike Stateside, with Derek Brewer at Shelter as management, who made the deal with DWP for the Tree Sessions PPV event.
